The Children's Services Council's Mission is to develop a common vision and agenda to improve the conditions and well-being for the children of Dutchess County by:

Increasing public awareness by focusing attention on children's issues;

Serving as a forum for a county-wide conversation and a clearinghouse for children's services and activities;

Identifying, assessing and promoting the improvement of key indicators for children's well-being; and

Building a more coordinated services system through integration of various plans that affect children, youth and families.
